You got ITIL 4 Foundation certification. What about other ITIL v4 modules?

After obtaining the ITIL 4 Foundation certification, continue your ITIL journey with three different paths:

1. 1. ITIL Managing Professional (ITIL MP)
   2. ITIL Strategic Leader (ITIL SL)
   3. ITIL Pratice Manager (ITIL PM)

The final designation, ITIL Master, will be awarded to candidates who achieve the Practice Manager (PM), Managing Professionals (MP) and Strategic Leader (SL). 1. The Managing Professional stream provides practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful IT-enabled services, teams and workflows. ITIL 4 Managing Professional consists of four modules:

1. ITIL Specialist: Create, Deliver & Support
2. ITIL Specialist: Drive Stakeholder Value
3. ITIL Specialist: High Velocity IT
4. ITIL Strategist: Direct, Plan & Improve (common module between ITIL SL and ITIL MP)

2. The Strategic Leader stream recognizes the value of ITIL, not just for IT operations, but for all digitally-enabled services. Becoming an ITIL SL demonstrates that the individual has a clear understanding of how IT influences and directs business strategy. ITIL 4 Strategic Leader consists of two modules:

1. ITIL Strategist: Direct, Plan & Improve (common module between ITIL SL and ITIL MP)
2. ITIL Leader: Digital & IT Strategy

3. The individual practice courses are intended for professionals that want to prove and validate their skills in specific practice areas. To achieve the Practice Manager designation, you need to have completed 5 individual practices plus the ITIL Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support module (common module between ITIL MP and ITIL PM).

3 Motives to choose a 3 Day PRINCE2 Practitioner Training 

Once a Practitioner course is completed and the exam is passed the main risk is  to deal with the inability to apply what learnt once back in the office. You pass your exam, you achieve a new certification but you don't have a complete understanding of the methodology and how to apply it in real working life because you have been focussing on passing the exam only.  You are confident in finding help by reading the book again and again but it is full of useful principles and lacking in real cases on how to apply them. With a classical two day course, the trainer knows that all the program must be covered at the end of the first training day in order to give space to exercises, case studies and to the  exam simulation. The course is delivered at a very fast pace and sometimes candidates risk not to have enough time to ask their questions and trainers get frustrated because of the impossibility of going in-depth with complex topics.  Having the availability to add one full training day  means that the trainer can cover the program at a more relaxed pace taking  more time for participants’ questions and dedicating more space to the most complex concepts and to the participants learning needs. You will get a real understanding of the methodology and once back in the office you won’t feel as you have to manage a PRINCE2 project out of the blue.
