CISA Certification

The Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) course is designed for people who want to showcase their expertise and assert their ability to apply a risk-based approach to planning, executing and reporting on audit engagements.

CISA is the globally recognized certification for IT audit, assurance, security and cybersecurity professionals with 3–5 years of experience.

The CISA certification showcases proficiencies in handling the challenges and responsibilities of a modern IT auditor.

Following the completion of the course, participants should prove their expertise in the following 5 practical work-related domains:

  • Domain 1: Information Systems Auditing Process – providing audit services in accordance with standards to assist organizations in protecting and controlling information systems
  • Domain 2: Governance & Management of IT – delivering assurance that the necessary leadership, structures and processes are in place to achieve organizational objectives and support strategy
  • Domain 3: Information Systems Acquisition, Development & Implementation – assuring that the practices in these areas will meet strategy and objectives
  • Domain 4: Information Systems Operations & Business Resilience – providing assurance that processes also meet strategies and objectives
  • Domain 5: Protection Of Information Assets – assuring that policies, standards, procedures and controls ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from Isaca.

Course Prerequisites
It is desirable, but optional, that participants have some experience in IS/IT audit, control, assurance, or security.

Exam Prerequisites
Five or more years of experience in IS/IT audit, control, assurance, or security.
